So yesterday I saw kiambu governor distributing "certified improved maize seeds" to farmers in some parts of kiambu county. Isn't that good news. 🤓🤓 But during campaigns, one of the UDA manifesto was to eradicate or rather to end hunger through investing in agricultural.
A couple of weeks ago, if not a month, Trade CS Mr. Moses Kuria was clear when he said the government had imported 10k bags of GMO maize. (yes I understand there are so many ways of dying in Kenya, including consuming GMOs, a comment the CS was criticized for boldly stating).now, was it GMO seedlings?? Or was the maize to be milled?? Swala nyeti huh !!
